Just to let people know, I have completed the Vehicle Spotter Program Training for the city of San Jose.
I'm official.
Anyone who notices abandoned vehicles...on the street...for more than 72 hours can let me know. I have a "special" email address to contact the vehicle abatement police officers.
My area is all the Hathaway Park Neighborhood streets.
You can send me the vehicle location, make/model. I'll go out and gather the rest of the info I need and turn it in.
Supposedly, this makes the turn around time to get cars ticketed and towed much quicker than the usual call to the recording.
